Hi, I’m Rachel —
A bride-to-be with a love for vintage, preloved, and recycled clothing. As I searched for my own wedding dress, I dreamed of finding something vintage — something unique, with history — but quickly realized how difficult it was to find beautiful, timeless pieces at an accessible price point. That experience sparked the idea behind Marée: a boutique offering the kind of gowns and garments I wished I'd found for myself — thoughtful, romantic, and attainable.
The name Marée felt meant to be. Rooted in French, it echoes marée ("tide") — evoking a sense of movement, romance, and timeless beauty — and nods to mariée ("bride"). Rooted in southern Rhode Island by the ocean and a summer lifestyle frequently on the water with my fiancé, it feels fitting to have the tide woven into the heart of this brand. Marée is also a tribute to my grandmother, who was raised in France and whose effortless sense of style and appreciation for quality, timeless pieces have always inspired me.
At Marée, we curate vintage bridalwear spanning decades — from the 1930s through the 2010s — thoughtfully selected for every element of the wedding journey. From gowns for the ceremony and reception to looks for the rehearsal dinner, getting ready, and more, we believe in celebrating every moment. We also seek out special vintage pieces for wedding guests, bridesmaids, mothers of the bride or groom, and all those who play a part in your story.
Inspired by the incredible vintage and bridal communities, I'm honored to turn my passion into reality, and so excited to help you find pieces that feel as meaningful and memorable as the moments you’ll wear them for.
